Coach Jorgensen was born in Tacoma, Washington and grew up in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Coach Jorgensen went to high school at Palmer High School and Doherty High School where he excelled in basketball and football. He has been coaching for an astounding 28 years in many different sports including football, golf, and track. His main coaching focus has been in basketball throughout those 28 years with 10 of those years as the head coach at Northridge High School. He has also coached basketball at Roy, Layton, Brighton and Woods Cross. (last 11 years)
Coach Jorgensen is not only a great coach, but also a great teacher and administrator which is why he is the Principal at South Davis Jr. High School. His experience and excitement will be a great addition for not only the players in our program but also for our coaching staff.
