All players interested in trying out for the 2014-2015 basketball team must attend the tryout meeting in the main gym on Thursday, November 6th at 5:30. Our last open gym will follow the meeting. GO WILDCATS!!!

2014-2015 Tryouts

The 2014-2015 Woods Cross Basketball Tryouts will run as follows:

November 10th-14th

Varsity/Junior Varsity- 3:00-4:30
Sophomore- 4:30-6:00

Tryouts will be finished by either Thursday or Friday of this week!!!

Participants MUST attend the pre-tryout meeting on November 6th in the Main Gym at 5:30 pm. (right before open gym)

Calender Updated!!!

The calendar for the months of November through January are updated with all important meetings, tryouts, deadlines, and games. Please be sure to look everything over so you know what is coming up in the next couple months. The season will be upon us before you know it. GO WILDCATS!!!

OPEN GYM!!!

This is a reminder that Open Gym begins this Wednesday, October 1st. The boys will be going during the later session for the first 5 sessions which will be from 7:30-9:00. This year we are opening up all the way down to 7th graders. Please come out and enjoy the good basketball and also come and enjoy getting into basketball shape. The cost is $25.00 for all ten sessions. GO WILDCATS!!!

Woods Cross Wildcat Youth Tryouts

WOODS CROSS YOUTH BASKETBALL TRYOUTS 2014

 

WHEN: Monday September 15th & Tuesday September 16th

             

WHERE: Woods Cross High School (Aux Gym)

 

WHO: 5th-6th Grade (6:30-8:00pm)  7th-8th (8:00-9:30pm)

 

COST: Every player that makes one of the teams will be a monthly fee to help pay the coaches for their time and their effort. The cost will be determined by the Director of Basketball Operations Coach Jeff Johnsen and the rest of the coaches. The tournament fees will be paid separately to the monthly coaches fee.

 

*** All players who play football please try to get to your tryout as soon as you possibly can. It will in no way effect your chances of making one of the teams if you play football. We will work with your schedules until football season is over. If you cannot make the tryout dates please contact Coach Johnsen and let him know. We may be adding additional tryout days the following week depending on numbers and if we think we need a longer look at players.

The new and updated schedule for this season has been posted to the right. Also, the Open Gym/Clinic dates have been posted for the fall on the right. Moratorium dates are also for the 2014-2015 Season.

Wildcat Summer Basketball Camp
