WOODS CROSS WILDCAT

Youth Basketball PROGRAM

There will be a tryout for the Woods Cross Youth Basketball Program on Monday, September 11 and Tuesday September 12, open to anyone who will be attending Woods Cross High School only. The tryout could spill into Monday September 18^th. This will be a competitive basketball program playing in aau sanctioned tournaments throughout the fall, winter, and spring. We will try to have at least 2 teams in each age group. Read the following information for more details. GO WILDCATS!!!

Where: Woods Cross High School Main & Aux Gym

When: 7^th & 8^th Grade from 6:00-7:30pm

               5^th & 6^th Grade from 7:30-9:00 pm

Who: Anyone interested in competitive basketball

Price: Ranges anywhere from $400.00 - $500.00 for the year.

WOODS CROSS YOUTH BASKETBALL TRYOUTS 2015-2016

WHEN: Monday September 14th & Tuesday September 15th

             

WHERE: Woods Cross High School (Aux Gym)

WHO: 5th-6th Grade (6:30-8:00pm)  7th-8th (8:00-9:30pm)

COST: Every player that makes one of the teams will be a monthly fee to help pay the coaches for their time and their effort. The cost will be determined by the Director of Basketball Operations Coach Jeff Johnsen and the rest of the coaches. The tournament fees will be paid separately to the monthly coaches fee.

*** All players who play football please try to get to your tryout as soon as you possibly can. It will in no way effect your chances of making one of the teams if you play football. We will work with your schedules until football season is over. If you cannot make the tryout dates please contact Coach Johnsen and let him know. We may be adding additional tryout days the following week depending on numbers and if we think we need a longer look at players.

All players interested in trying out for the 2014-2015 basketball team must attend the tryout meeting in the main gym on Thursday, November 6th at 5:30. Our last open gym will follow the meeting. GO WILDCATS!!!

2014-2015 Tryouts

The 2014-2015 Woods Cross Basketball Tryouts will run as follows:

November 10th-14th

Varsity/Junior Varsity- 3:00-4:30
Sophomore- 4:30-6:00

Tryouts will be finished by either Thursday or Friday of this week!!!

Participants MUST attend the pre-tryout meeting on November 6th in the Main Gym at 5:30 pm. (right before open gym)
